Who We Are...
Family Restoration Project One of Upon this Rock Ministries, Inc. was established in 2016 by Rev. Arthur and Rev. Dana Rose, a family who, after their own justice-impacted experience, recognized a pressing need for empowerment programs to reduce recidivism and promote public safety. Their journey brought to light the need to support the successful and safe transition of the currently and formerly incarcerated to their families and communities, as well as mentoring troubled youth and their parents.
At Family Restoration Project One, we understand the multifaceted challenges of reintegrating with loved ones and the community after release. Our comprehensive wraparound services are designed to provide a safety net, not only through our pre-release and post-release cognitive behavior sessions but also through educational, job readiness, and referral programs.
Thanks to the support of our community partners, including city and state officials, we organize several events each year that address health disparities, domestic abuse, reintegration strategies, and gun violence prevention. Additionally, we support those in need through our food pantry. Our services aim to nurture safe and stable families, empowering them to care for their children and fostering unity within the family unit.
